BiB Environmental Policy.
BiB Holdings Ltd takes its responsibilities towards the environment very seriously & operates under full compliance with the WEEE Directive. WEEE is the European Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment Directive and applies to a wide range of electrical and electronic products. The objective of WEEE is to reduce waste from electrical and electronic products and components; promote the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such wastes; and to improve the environmental performance of all producers involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic products.
The Directive transfers the responsibility for collection, treatment, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment to the companies that manufacture, sell, distribute, recycle or treat electronic products and components in the European Union.
Among the requirements of the directive is the implementation of a take-back programme. Please contact BiB on 01438 740823 to arrange for the return of any WEEE items originally purchased from BiB.
